The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity has created three days of activities and events in order to raise money to provide the children of service members that were killed overseas with access to higher education. “Pike Platoon” will be taking place from the 27th to the 29th of October.
Pike Platoon will be supporting the group known as No Greater Sacrifice. No Greater Sacrifice serves to bridge the educational development and professional mentoring gap for the children of our nation’s fallen heroes. Our job is to help finish their work by raising funds to pay for college tuition and graduate degree programs and to provide professional mentoring for their children. NGS accomplishes its mission by funding the charities that are already on the ground working on behalf of this noble cause, including:
- The Navy SEAL Warrior Fund - The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation - The Special Operations Warrior Foundation
-And other local charities that support the NGS Charity
No Greater Sacrifice Foundation is a District of Columbia not for profit corporation. All donations will be used solely for the education and support of the children of service members whose lives are lost as a result of service in the global war on terror or future conflicts. The organization is comprised of volunteers from around the country and has no paid staff. The organization is staffed solely by volunteers and does not have any paid employees or professional fund raisers
