Pi Kappa Alpha, Gamma Omega Chapter

Pi Kappa Alpha (“Pike”), is an international brotherhood composed of 210 student chapters and 120 alumni associations. The Fraternity has more than 227,000 members and has maintained the largest average chapter size of any international fraternity for most of the past 20 years.Pi Kappa Alpha, through its members, has donated millions of dollars to philanthropic causes and community organizations across North America. Our fraternity’s vision is to "set the standard of integrity, intellect, and achievement for our members, host institutions, and the communities in which we live."
The University of Miami chapter was founded in 1926 as Phi Alpha and chartered in 1940 as the Gamma Omega chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. We are the longest standing organization at the school.Our chapter currently has 83 active students and over 1,600 alumni. To learn more about Gamma Omega please see our history.
